A virtual tour for wedding venues
1 minute readBy Zac FoxLast checked
A couple choosing a wedding venue may be choosing a place they have never stood in, and their first look round may be your website. The photographs show the room dressed for someone else's day. A virtual tour is where they work out whether the space would carry theirs.
The route to capture
Walk the day in the order it runs:
- The ceremony room, with the aisle and the seating in view.
- The way through to drinks, then to the meal, then to the dancing.
- The getting ready rooms: the mirror, the light, and the space for the people who will be there.
- The walk from the car park, the terrace, and the spot where the photographs happen.
Where the tour sits
Put it on the weddings page, a click from the enquiry form. Send it again in the reply to every enquiry, so the couple can walk the ceremony room at home before they visit and bring their questions with them. Hotels with function rooms work the same way.
Dressed or bare
If the room is mostly booked for ceremonies, capture it set out for a ceremony. If it hosts meetings as well, capture it bare and let the photographs show it dressed. Walk a demo and see which room you open first.
