WALKSPACE

Choose between a phone scan app and Walkspace

Can I scan my venue with a phone app instead of using Walkspace?

Yes. Try one room first and view the result on a phone and on a laptop before you commit the whole venue to it.

A phone 3D scan app lets a venue capture its own rooms. The difference from Walkspace is who does the work, and what comes back after.

Where a phone scan app wins

It is do-it-yourself, so it is cheap and quick to redo. Polycam publishes a Basic plan at about £118 a year, and Teleport by Varjo charges from about £24 a capture. Nobody has to book a day on site.

What Walkspace adds

A whole venue takes planning, good light and patience to capture well. We do that on site and host the tour on your own site. What a walkthrough does to bookings explains why that matters.

When to pick which

  • If someone on your team enjoys the craft and has the evenings, use a phone app.
  • If a room changes often, such as a bar refitted each season, an app lets you rescan it yourself for nothing.
  • If you want the whole venue captured in one visit, with a report on what visitors opened, book Walkspace to capture it.

What it costs

Walkspace charges £250 a month for hosting, the report and a yearly rescan, and a capture starts at £950. See our prices.
